Trying this out solo for Night of the Zealot

I like the general idea: for enemies, Rite of Seeking and Drawn to the Flame for investigating. However, I see some problems for solo:

  • Your economy isn't going to be good enough to play all this. In Solo, you won't have a ton of enemies to engage, so Zoey's won't trigger frequently. And between Beat Cop, .45 Automatic, Rite of Seeking and Physical Training I think you'll spend a lot of time with cards in your hand you can't play. I would at the very least drop either Physical Training or Beat Cop and put Emergency Cache in.
  • Both Rite of Seeking and Drawn to the Flame get two clues at once. Now, in Night of the Zealot this maybe isn't too bad (a lot of 2 locations), but in general I think you may want to see if there aren't ways for you to efficiently discover 1 clue. If you have the most recent pack (The Wages of Sin), the card Sixth Sense is amazing and I highly recommend it for Zoey.
  • I think the healing cards ("If it bleeds...", Dodge and Emergency Aid) are going to be very disappointing. In solo, you are more likely to be defeated by not advancing through the scenario fast enough than by getting killed. The only one I'd maybe keep in is "If it bleeds..." because it helps with horror, but since Zoey has 4 even that is probably not necessary. I'd play some additional cards to help you get clues: even Perception could be a lot of help.
