Solo Daisy Walker build for standard difficulty.

Gameplay:

After Part 1, which is actually quite easy and straitforward, I buy 1x Encyclopedia + 2x Disc of Itzamna, together for 6 experience. (Out: 1x Hyperawareness + 2x Holy Rosary).

Part 2 is much more complicated. Key here is to have Dr. Milan from the beginning, either by mulliganing or by jumping to Southside as quick as possible (however only 50% chance to get the correct one). Quick investigating is crucial, steady average outcome is 3 Cultists in Victory Display including the Masked Hunter, if you are happy you can manage 4. For another 6 experience you should buy 1x Encyclopedia + 2x Blinding Light. (Out 1x Magnifying Glass + 2x 0-lvl Blinding Light).

Part 3 is a no go for me so far, I am not able to get through the early stages quick enough to get the winning resolution and I enter the Ritual Site only to witness spawning of Ancient One. I suspect that winning ratio for The Devourer Below is below 10% if you do not have achieved 4+ Cultists in Midnight Masks. :(

Card Selection:

Main strength of the deck is focused on combination of cards Scrying Old Book of Lore and Ward of Protection. Combination of these three establishes control of your draw + management of the encounter deck. Investigating with base Intellect of 5 is quite easy, if you get Dr. Milan Christopher soon, he will turn in quite a lot of resources, mainly in Part 2 of campaign. Magnifying Glass is expandable card.

The rest of the deck serves mainly for managment of the enemies swarming around. You have hardly any chance to kill any significant foe without Shrivelling Spell. Adding Knife does not help at all. Blinding Light and Mind over Matter helps to evade non-Hunters or to kill smaller foes. As soon as you get more experience points, buy Disc of Itzamna, they will save your butt very often.

As all of this is uite expensive, I recommend to run with 2 Emergency Cacheand to not add anything else than cards useful in skill tests. Guts and Manual Dexterity are Mandatory and due to draw card much better than Unexpected Courage, however, I have spot for them too. Working a Hunch is situational, usually it is not wort the 2 resources, however, you will need them in Part 3. Encyclopedia is useful for some tests, but it is not so overpowered as it looks like. Using it engaged costs you Attack of Opportunity punishment and you can not use it as a reaction against Treachery cards.

Irecommend playing with Lita Chantler in crucial parts or adding Medical Texts, otherwise your health will not be sufficient.

So thats it, I really do not see much space for improvement. Unfortunately, this is still not good enough to manage The Devourer Bellow regularly.

Her low evade and fight make any enemy heavy scenario unmanageable. She's great with a bodyguard though. It seems like she's just a bad pick for solo scenario play. She'd get butchered in Carnevale of Horrors without some help.
