This is the final build of In Chaos Major going into the last scenario of Path to Carcosa! Original build is here: https://arkhamdb.com/decklist/view/22437/jim-culver-in-chaos-major-from-covenant-live-carcosa-2.0

Loved how this one ended up. You really don't ever fail tests. Olive is important. You could probably get away with Song of the Dead in Carcosa (3 skulls) but I like consistency! I never played Astral Travel or Ethereal Form, but I still like them. Wither wasn't as consistent as I had hoped, but it does the job I suppose. The Black Cat was jamming, and is unbelievable when paired with Seal of the Elder Sign.

All the off-class cards performed admirably. Lone Wolf is an understated accelerator of the build. Probably saves at least 1-2 turns of setup time if you get it in opening hand. Eureka absolutely performs in this deck, which, like many Mystics, revolves around digging for those spells. Live and Learn is always good, and such a safety blanket when in hand.

Not sure what I'd change. There's room to experiment, though. I'd look at Astral Travel, Ethereal Form, and potentially Spectral Razor. If you do less spell toolkit, you can probably drop Word of Command.

Thank you to all who watched the journey! If you'd like to start from the start, you can do so here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1H5YarWZko

The second scenario is when this deck really gets discovered, discussed, and built.

Great stream from start to finish.

Loved the control you got going later in the series; especially once black cat was dropped in

Can you summarize exactly what your upgrade path was? I'd like to see some logic behind your choices.

@lordraikalo Sure! The first thing was making sure to maximize Arcane Research, so upgrading a spell every scenario. I believe it was like this.

Wither -> Wither 4

Shriveling -> Shriveling 3

Ward of Protection -> Ward of Protection 2

Ward of Protection -> Ward of Protection 2

Shriveling 3 -> Shriveling 5

Shriveling -> Shriveling 3

Shriveling 3 -> Shriveling 5

Because a good number of those upgrades were free due to Arcane Research, it left XP for the rest of the build in the following priority:

1) Word of Command

2) Recall the Future

3) Black Cat

4) Charisma

5) Seal of the Elder Sign

Seal of the Elder Sign is excellent as a final pick, as it fully heals Black Cat.
