I Think Luke is one of the most powerful investigators in the game, with his only glaring weakness is his weaker combat ability. As a mystic his low combat is virtually meaningless as his damage will come from spells. With his ability to be almost anywhere on the map at any time, moving and acting via events without using an action, and his seeker off class, I find Luke a perfect all around investigator who can blow up campaigns alone, or slot in anywhere on a 2-4 man team.

This deck revolves around Luke's amazing ability to do things while not being present.

Both Crack the Case & Connect the dots can be used in conjunction with the dream box to automatically get insane value from any difficult location.

Luke is able to focus on exploring and dropping massive clue drops with either test-less or easy investigates thanks to read the signs.

Next we have his amazing fighting potential, in spectral razor and shriveling combined again with gate box to warp to any location to help out allies, should the fighter be absent.

Deny existence and ward of protection both offer ways to keep the encounter deck under control should someone (Luke included) test poorly for any reason.

The massive resource income from 2 emergency cache, crack the case and alchemical transmutation allow for Luke to either pump stats via arcane studies or pay for some of the pricer cards.

The single copy of scrying mirror allows for the few skills in this deck to basically get guaranteed value should you run dry on testless clues, gate box charges, or combat spells.

Finally preposterous sketches helps you maintain a healthy hand size thanks again to gate box and his passive, where you can guarantee the ability to use it.

For players who love using gate box, or have campaigns with large maps, one could substitute out a card for a card that can add charges, though by using Luke's passive there should be no need to replenish gate box charges.
