So the issue with Skids is that his stats are bad, he doesn't have enough actions, and he runs out of money constantly. Enter Chuck Fergus, tailor-made to solve each of these problems.

The basic strategy is to mulligan hard for Chuck. He's the most important card in the deck. Make your events cheap and make number go up.

Use Lucky Cigarette Case on Lockpicks and your events that add skill values to sift for Double, Double. Then, use Chuck to play things in weird timing windows and Double it up! Throw 6 damage worth of Dynamite in the mythos phase! Punch out a dude twice in the middle of a Parley test! The sky's the limit when you live in magical Christmas land.

This deck was originally built for a Hotel visit, so if Fine Clothes is useless to you swap it out for Lone Wolf. If you don't want to put all your hopes in Chuck, Clean Them Out and Sneak By could easily be Overpower and Manual Dexterity. But, come on, you don't play Rogue to make the safe, easy decision.

Skids has such a great card-pool for Chuck too. I've done a few decks that are vaguely in this vein. Some other fun things are like Well Prepared to get off of Chuck, Alice Luxley to ping enemies when you're discovering clues with B&E, Under Surveillance (1) and Get Over Here and/or On the Hunt to set up convoluted plays that usually end up with like 1 clue and an enemy defeated or mostly defeated, Sneak Attack for actionless free fast damage (with chuck), Inspiring Presence to get multiple uses out of Chuck in one turn. There's really more options than I could ever fit in a single deck, sadly.

I kept to 29xp for standalone purposes, but Under Surveillance and upgraded Sneak Attack were on my shortlist for sure!
