How do you make a sideboard using cardbuilder?

I have no idea. There is no help to be found anywhere.

Nuurori - click the card name and you'll see there's an option to include up to 2 in your deck, but to the right of that, there's also an option to include up to 2 in a side deck. It's helpful for planning upgrades.

Really interesting support build. I do have a very successful willpower-fighter deck for Mary (using her access to all the willpower upgrades), so I do think she can be a great primary fighter, but I think at higher player counts, this is a very cool use of Mary.

How about shriveling over wither? Mary has enough horror soak to handle it and it is more effective than wither. Yes, it does have charges, but since your Mary is not a primary fighter that's not much of a disadvantage & helps her be better at helping the fighter with random monsters. Plus, given scrying mirror, she may not even run into bad tokens with it.

Another card that may be especially good for your deck concept is 'Let Me Handle This One' since your Mary can take care of both willpower tests (with a +2 from the card!) and some enemies.

Another cool way to use Mary as a support might be to load her up with soaks like Tetsuo Mori and then use solemn vow or other protective cards. I think it'd be an entirely different deck, though.

Regarding combat spells, I had in mind a great Jacqueline deck using Sign Magick (3) in combination with Wither (4) to great effect and without spending charges. But those are obviously high-XP cards that Mary cannot access… so yes, I like your idea for Shrivelling. The new Brand of Cthuga (1) might be a good upgrade.

Regarding Let Me Handle This One, I use that in lots of decks for fighters to grab enemies before they engage a scrawny Seeker. I left it out because this deck is intended to rearrange the encounter deck, though I’ll never be able to control every card. It could be a good choice, especially given the theme. Thanks!

I have used Brand of Cthuga in Mary and can confirm it works beautifully. Mine didn't get much use because I had cyclopean hammer is a primary weapon so it wasn't necessary, but Brand is a very good spell and she can level it all the way up to 4 because it's dual-class.

Brand is good for helping finishing enemies engaged with tank without fear of accidentally blasting your teammate. You could be the tank yourself with Spiritual Resolve and The Star.

@An_Undecayed_Whately i like this concept. I have been toying with the idea myself, but so far haven't seriously considered trying it. Maybe now with all new cards this could become a viable role indeed!

I would drop Drawn to the Flame precisely because encouter deck is now coated with sugar, and that would also eat some of the sugar coating and risk bad deal later. Just use clairvoyance for same result. Use token from Favor of the Sun if necessary.

Solemn Vow would help keeping allies in shape and love you even more.

Deny Existence only helps you, and so does Fearless, i'd let them go to to make room for the tank stuff.

Also Storm of Spirits over Spectral Razor any day! Razor just doesn't seem to have the edge. :D
