So Wendy has Wendy's Amulet which is completely overpowered when it comes to Events. So the natural thing is to build an Event only deck. With one Core Set it is impossible, with two it is barely adequate.
Ditch any thoughts of fighting whatsoever and put everything into Evasion. But Backstab is there when she must and Leather Coat is for when she fails.
Survival Instinct is there for fast mobility.
She draws cards through Pickpocketing and Resources from Emergency Cache which bounces back to her hand.
At this level she might not be strong enough for Solo play but she has 10 skill cards to make her a team player. Plus Events she Commits for Tests get re-used as Events in the discard pile and then return to the bottom of her deck.
The only things Abandoned and Alone get rid of are the skill cards and her assets if they are unlucky enough to be discarded. Plus it will get rid of her Basic Weakness, then sit in her discard pile forever because all these events mean you should never run out of cards.

Nov 13, 2016Mate, I agree with you totally. The chance of a first draw is 15% The chance after a mulligan and second draw is 30% Then after spending your first turn drawing 3 cards it is 39% If you drew a weakness in both opening hands it is 45% But it might be the last card you draw. But as long as your Weakness hasn’t come up you can hoover those events back to the bottom of your deck when it does. Check out Part Two of this deck which features upgrades. |
I'm not sure of the wisdom of building a deck around Wendy's Amulet. I just played through the entire 3 adventure campaign and never saw it! Whilst I was obviously unlucky, I don't think you can count on 1 of 33 cards coming out early enough consistently
