...I have a trust fund!

This deck is designed to leverage Jenny's income in multiplayer by building a stash of resources and spreading the wealth with Teamwork.

Jenny isn't a freeloader, though, and pulls her weight by investigating with the help of Flashlight and Arcane Studies, as well as a deep well of intellect icons to commit to tests as needed.

These icons and Jenny's main partner in crime, Dr. Milan Christopher, also help in staging each Burglary and building her cash reserves to sink into tests with Arcane Studies or Hard Knocks.

In addition to helping finance cards for other investigators, Teamwork lets Jenny share items and allies with investigators who may not be able to normally benefit from her cards. A monster hunter like Roland Banks can make great use of an extra action each turn from Leo De Luca, as can others.

In a 3-player game Teamwork also allows other investigators in Jenny's location to trade resources, items and allies, so the possible combinations are endless. If you happen to sit at a table with investigators who don't benefit from normally unavailable items or allies, then just give them a few resources with Teamwork to buy a little something nice for themselves.

Mobility cards like Elusive and Think on Your Feet keep Jenny out of trouble and put her where she needs to be to best assist other investigators with assets, resources, icon commitments, or even a dose of Painkillers or a shot of Liquid Courage.

Finally, if Jenny is in danger of elimination and story assets like Peter Clover will go with her, Teamwork can relay the asset to another investigator before it's too late.

Hot Streak is an obvious upgrade. Adding Cat Burglar gives Jenny a bit more mobility, and another useful ally for her friends. Bulletproof Vest can be an effective replacement for Painkillers if she can pass it to another investigator, but provides no protection against direct damage or effects that trigger off damage already on an investigator.

As usual for rogues, Jenny is deficient in Willpower icons. Contraband is an extra icon, but also lets Jenny mazimize Jenny's Twin .45s. Though it's pricey, she can also add uses to a variety of cards carried by other investigators, including First Aid, Flashlight, Shotgun and even Roland's .38 Special.

Just pray you don't get Paranoia. Trust is a two-way street!

Really nice write-up, BD! Impressive, and looks really tempting. My understanding is that this deck thrives in 4-player, where the options for Teamwork multiply to the greatest degree? What do you see the set-up of the other three investigators being? I'm imagining 'brawler', 'clue-grubber' and 'a.n.other' in that situation.

I've been playing Liquid Courage myself in a Jenny deck and enjoying how it can target other investigators. This deck takes that to a whole new level with support and help. Really looking forward to trying it!

Have fun! As with most support builds, the more players the better, but I don't generally build toward partnering with specific builds or investigators unless I have to.

My guess is it works best with Guardians, and Roland in particular, because they seem to have the most use for money and/or reloads, but everyone needs a few bucks or fresh Flashlight batteries once in a while, and the focus on intellect makes Jenny a good utility player.

I guess if all else fails, grab Adaptable and swap some books for fists! :)

One thing that worries me a little about using a singleton of Arcane Studies, specifically in Dunwich, is the threat that it will get milled away to the discard pile before you lay hands on it. So the high count of intellect icons seems reassuring, as a back-up plan in case Arcane Studies slips away.

Yep. Milan and all the icons help a lot in that area. Arcane Studies is a bit more of a boost that wouldn't be worth it for that effect alone, but the deck can use the help in willpower -- even though Jenny's is average, rogues light on will icons as a class. I couldn't justify taking another over a second copy of Milan or Teamwork, though, which are core to the deck concept!

(In our current campaign, she just got Armitage, so maybe I can grab adaptable and go 1x Milan. I feel like the shroud numbers in Miskatonic Museum don't really call for it though.)

On milling, I don't have tutor or recursion effects, so milling any given card is statistically a wash. Losing the card to a mill is as likely as milling other cards out of the way so I can draw it. :)

Thanks for the comments!

Problem with including Dr. Milan in a supportive Jenny deck is that he is unique and if you're playing with a Seeker buddy they're not going to appreciate you taking away one of the best cards in their deck.

I guess you'd hope to talk to your buddies before playing this deck!

Typically, when I play with people with their own cards, we don't talk about our decks except to ensure we don't have the same investigator. It's just the risk of playing a unique card -- especially now that the Dunwich investigators mean Christopher can be splashed into decks of any class.
