This deck is meant to be played with a teammate who will deal with nasty surprises, like monsters, cultists, ... Ursula indeed likes ancient things, but more when they stay in place, like in a museum.

The basic version does not have many relics but the pool will quickly grow through the campaign. We start gently with The Chtonian Stone and the Tooth of Eztli but fancier old magic toys will come to help / replace them. As the deck is expensive, we need Unearth the Ancients to reduce a bit the cost (also note that it provides some very interesting combo, cf. card analysis). Seekers do not have trouble to draw, but have a harder time to pay for stuff.

When she's not busy admiring her growing relic collection, Ursula loves to move, possibly everywhere. For that, we'll have to give her some tools to maximize her passive skill and high intelligence. Fieldwork, Vantage Point and Shortcut are here for that, without forgetting the Trench Coat in case of dark clouds in the encounter deck (let Guardians deal with that, they know what to do).

From relics to relics

What we have for now is not very impressive, but Ursula will not hesitate to draw from other classes to improve her possibilities. Rush for Charon's Obol for quick XP, it will allow you to quickly improve the rest of the deck. Let's get shinier jewellery now: Ancient Stone will replace The Chtonian Stone, ideally soon to have the time to identify and replace it thanks to Shrewd Analysis. Another important part of this deck (we'll see that part more in details after) is that Elli allows you to play many relics without caring about the hand / accessory slots... well, at least while she's there! Thus, the Hemispheriq Map becomes quite interesting to boost your stats, location-wise. It can even replace the Tooth of Eztli, but you'll lose the draw reaction. An interesting synergy between the Hemispheriq Map and the Otherworldly Compass could even push to replace your old Magnifying Glass! Note that each card replaced by a relic facilitate the draw effect of Unearth the Ancients.

The accessory slot, beyond the Tooth of Eztli, can also fit The Gold Pocket Watch or Jewel of Aureolus. Both of them are very interesting (especially the watch in a multiplayer context), but think of Reliq Hunter in case. Keep in mind that, as Rogue or Mystic cards, they can NOT be chosen with Unearth the Ancients).

Note: The Skeleton Key is also very tempting, but synergizes pretty badly with Otherworldly Compass and your passive.

We are not (totally) alone

Ursula always had a crush for bad boys, especially Leo De Luca, which she dreamed to spend actions with... Unfortunately, he preferred dating rich girl like Jenny Barnes or following alpha male like Leo Anderson. After that, she barely moved on with Jake Williams and Dr. Milan Christopher, to finally friendzone them once enough resources have been gathered or all locations discovered. Then, she called her teacher Dr Elli Horowitz to focus on the relic search.

She likes to move it move it

It's good to collect relics and clues, but for that, you'll have to travel a lot. Pathfinder is really powerful at giving you free moves and triggering Fieldwork and is more efficient than Shortcut , from my experience (Shortcut is better only in some scenario centered around a single location). All these free moves are perfect to turn on Jake (if only he knew...) and your passive skill. When XP allows it, invest in Deciphered Reality to retrieve many clues in a single shot.
