Three figures shimmer into view as they cross one another in the darkened halls. "Professor," you hear Dr. Kensler’s voice acknowledge, and her outline becomes defined. Professor Dyer and his protégé appear next. "I do hope you’ll consider my proposal," she continues. If she truly cared one way or the other, her tone of voice surely does not reveal it.
In response, Dyer simply glances at Danforth, who appears to be staring behind her - far, far behind her. "Well. In any event..." she adjusts her glasses, and enters the door labeled with her name.
Dyer shakes his head with a sigh, but Danforth is the one who breaks the silence. "I...I think we should go."
