A young Dr. Sinha appears by the bedside, her face contorted with grief. You have never seen her so stricken. A nurse places a hand on top of Dr. Sinha’s in consolation, but she bats it away. "Don’t," she barks, choking back a sob.
"There is nothing more you could have done, Doctor," the nurse says.
"There is always more that can be done," Dr. Sinha shouts. "We could have been smarter! Faster!" Her hands shake as she tries to make a fist. Black miasma seeps from between her knuckles. "We - I - this is my fault. All my fault."
