Story

Mythos

Below the frieze is a triptych of three distinct scenes. The first panel depicts a comet falling from the sky. The center panel, while highly abstract, shows legions of nightmarish alien shapes pouring out of fallen rocks. Their faces are covered in thick, ropy appendages. The frieze depicts the alien creatures trampling a forest of what looks like thick, boxy flowering trees. The final frieze depicts a wave of sinewy, wormlike creatures spilling out from the celestial rocks like a flood.
