Story

Mythos

Remember "the investigators found record of Matilde's bribe." (Group limit once per game).

Flip this card back to its location side. It cannot be flipped again for the remainder of the scenario.

You sneak into the offices, careful to avoid the few late-night workers. The Husserl family puff pieces that the Advertiser has been running recently were all written by the same reporter: Matilde Correa. After some searching, you locate her desk. You don't find much, but you do notice that one desk drawer has a false bottom, which lifts away to reveal a yellow envelope stuffed with documents.
Extracting the envelope, you find it contains a wad of cash, and all sorts of photos of Albrecht Husserl - leaving the Tick-Tock Club, handing a briefcase over to Arkham police officers, collecting strange glass jars from robed figures in French Hill.
One photo shows the floor of Aziza Steer's office. Glass fragments are scattered about, and in the center of the photo is a strange, flower-like jellyfish creature.
