This deck does very well consistently as a solo investigator for core set campaign (standard). Capitalize on fast ability, card cycling and passive clue discovery actions to get more time to deal on the scenarios requirements.

Mulligan hard for a weapon (Machete is awesome) and if possible a flashlight. Use skills cards to dig into physical training and hyper awareness, then you're pretty much set. Always make sure there's a clue at your location end of turn and when fighting a monster, move with him to one if need be. Working a hunch and evidence will work around locked doors.

Skill cards provide card cycling and make it so you dont have to rely on hyperawareness and physical training too much, draining your ressources. Once your rig is set up, use phys.training and hyperawareness to counter bad luck as you won't need ressource for much else.

Since there is not much ressource cards in the core set, going heavy event and low card cost is I think the way to go. Dr. Milan is too pricy for an early play, doesn't combo with passive clue gathering abilities and late game youd rather have a beat cop or a guard dog anyway. You also don't really need his intellect boost has most of your clue gathering his passive.
