So the theme for this deck is pretty self easy to figure out. It's a big money Preston deck. However, this take isn't my final take. I'd love some feedback. I'll explain how it works.
Fire Axe: What do I need to saw about this? One of the best weapons in the game in my personal opinion. With Preston's Family Inheritance, any money played on him goes to that so +6 and +1 damage never hurts.
Watch This and Double or Nothing: Since I'll want lots of resources, why not make some a little more difficult? Committing both will allow me to generate 12 resources if I succeed. Gaining that much will help me have so much fuel for fire axe and Well Connected.
Well Connected: As stated above, gaining 12 resources from that combo will be huge. With getting all those resources, that's a guaranteed +2 to any skill test I will be performing which will be primarily be fighting.
Investments: The new rogue card from the newest set. I'm testing it out. It seems good on paper. Being able to at least get a few resources isn't terrible at all . It's a free action too to get a supply on it. So that's a bonus.
Drawing Thin: This card is insane. I get give a skill test +2. Sure it's harder, but I can benefit no matter what. I get gauge what I want between resources or a card without even having to pass it. I like free value cards.
But yeah, this is my first take on this type of build. I'll be wanting to focus on getting all the monsters if possible and giving them the chop with fire axe and be the richest man in Arkham.

Jun 21, 2019I know it doesn't count towards family inheritance. I'm mainly using it for just a plus 2 buff to a stat I need. I'm also debating if I want to switch certain things around before I even start this. It's a multiplayer deck. Where I want to focus on killing but I'm thinking of making him a back up clue gather as well. |
Well connected not count the resources on family inheritance, so you have to spend the action to take the money to make it works. And doing so it's antisynergic with fire axe i think
