Ursula Downs: Seeker Focused around high mobility and clue gathering, relies on other investigators to deal with enemies.

Investigation:

  • Ursula has a free investigate action once per turn after you move to a location.
  • With Jake Williams out, your first move or investigate can even be done when engaged without taking an attack of opportunity.
  • Use Fieldwork to increase the bonus of this investigation by +2
  • Use Fingerprinting Kits and Deductions to pull additional clues off locations.
  • Use Art Student to pull a clue off a difficult to investigate location without testing.
  • Use seeking Answers to investigate a low shroud location and pull the clues off a connected high shroud location or a location full of enemies.

Support:

  • Use Crack the Case on a high shroud location to give investigators or yourself money.
  • Use support to move yourself or other investigators to connecting locations without using an action.
  • Use preposterous Sketches to allow yourself or another investigator to draw 3 cards.
  • Whenever a new location is revealed Jake Williams draws you a card.
  • Use Grizzly Totem to give yourself an additional boost in a skill test from a card you just committed.
  • A high agility stat lends itself to very good evasion, in fringe cases where you need to fight, "I've Got a Plan" allows you to briefly fight back while others can arrive.

Weakness:

  • You choose a location at the beginning of your turn, if you do not investigate that location you take 2 horror and shuffle it back into your deck.

  • This is not too difficult to deal with having around each turn, most times you will want to be using the free investigate after a movement anyways. Otherwise, 2 horror is easily mitigated between yourself, Jake Williams and your Art Student.
