This is the goal for my first play-through of Innsmouth. To zero out the xp just remove Stick to the Plan, two Flamethrowers, and Ever Vigilant... add back .35 Winchester, Enchanted Blade, and one Ethereal Form. Probably going to be a colossal train wreck, but dammit if a flamethrower-nun isn't an exciting concept.

Edit: Oh, okay. 'Releasing' a blessing token means it goes back into the chaos bag... I hadn't read the instructions on 'seal' ever, simply never having done it before. In that case, Rite of Sanctification is a little better than I gave it credit for. My original thinking was, NO, I don't want the blessing tokens to go away... but if they gradually return then the economy savings is worth it to me. In that light... -1 Drawn to the flame, -1 Read the Signs, +1 Rite of Sanctification, +1 Hand of fate. This should lean more into guardian and achieving blessing tokens, and a little less into clueing.

How'd your Innsmouth playthrough go? Thinking of making a Mary deck for Dream Eaters.

It went terribly. I was expecting to get more use out of the blessing tokens but the damn starting chaos bag is just jammed full of tokens. She's probably a good investigator, but I'm a bad deck builder.

Ah, don't beat yourself up too bad. Mary seems tough to build for.
