Leo's deck mainly focuses on supporting Sefina (generally helping her gain resources or pass tests), and taking out enemies with allies or guns.
He doesn't intend to leave the clue focus entirely to Sefina - at least, yet - so he's packed Grete, Flashlight, Followed and Perception to assist his clue-hunting.
I'll admit Grete is a little bit of a hard sell as a Unique Ally, blocking Leo's ability from working until she dies (or I choose to replace her). But the clue acceleration, plus the combat boost, makes her too useful to leave by the wayside.
