A somewhat fast drawing deck that is farly good at fighting and investigating. Experienced pete will have Timeworn brandt that will make him able to kill most elite monster in on phase.
Scurage for supplies makes it possible to get duke back from the discard pile. A glimmer of hope and rabbits foot are important to have in the starting hand to be able to have many cards to discard.
Petes fast! Though using the glimmer of hope card will cost pete some actions more actions will be saved from moving around with Duke and tracking shoes. Even more movement actions will be saved by using Open gate which are great for fast drawing decks.
Exp focus: Timeworn brandt, possible to do 10 damage on one turn, cornerd extra skill points for investigations etc, relic hunter to gain 2 rabits foot and draw more cards. Few exp, lucky upgrade, five of pentacles
