Carolyn's lookin' for Paradise!

Archive of Conduits: Gateway to Paradise is the cornerstone of this deck. effectively a better version of her default signature card (save for the passive), AoC makes her a godlike healer, capable of converting every action into a heal, a card, and a resource (if healing horror). Peter absorbs horror for you, converting it into cash (Use with Painkillers and Forbidden Knowledge! Or even Ward of Protection!), while Foolishness pumps up your stats. Hard Mulligan for the AoC, only keeping Old Book of Lore and No Stone Unturned, which are included along with Eureka! to help dig out the Archive ASAP. Once you have the Archive, all three of those cards can be used to help your allies.

St. Hubert's Key is amazing for Carolyn, not only is it rare to trigger it's discard, but it even feeds you a free coin if it does happen. Sword Cane is your only weapon, as Carolyn is not much of a fighter. But with both Peter and the the key in play, you can fight at +3 over your combat once per turn... or evade at +2. More than enough for a support character at the cost of a single deck slot.

Clarity of Mind generates a whopping 8 resources when upgraded, assuming you split the heal each time. Liquid Courage is cheap and effective, Hallowed Mirror is as overpowered as ever, Meditative Trance is versatile, and Inspiring Presence is your only way to heal other peoples allies aside from the Mirror. Fearless is useful, but it's upgrade does little for you as it does not trigger your passive twice. Cheat Death is useful in any deck, but is even better for Carolyn for whom it effectively costs 0. Down The Rabbit Hole saves us a TON of XP if we use it right, making this deck reach it's full power much faster. As there are no real further upgrades cardwise and the XP total is low compared to the usual, we grab Observed at the end to give us free, if unreliable, bonuses without taking up a deck slot.

Note: The initial Backpack helps get the unidentified Archive out asap so you can run it, as you really, REALLY want to identify it in the first mission. It switches out for Cheat Death after you've gotten Charisma. Feel free to rearrange the suggested order: if you have 6 XP, for example, grab both Liquid Courage and Cheat Death.

Actual XP Cost if optimally using Down The Rabbit Hole: -10 + 4 = 32
