A mystic guardian able to rely on fight and will power for damage. This deck will rely on Dragon Pole to start with and will eventually upgrade to Cyclopean Hammer that has a much faster set up.

Strategy:

  • Dragon Pole skill and damage are increased by Arcane Asset slots for which there are Arcane Initiates to help draw for (as well as ward of protection which is a spell).
  • Cyclopean Hammer on the other hand has a much faster set up as it just merges Willpower and Fight together.
  • I will need to aggressively mulligan for a Weapon or a Prepared for the Worst until Stick To The Plan is purchased.
  • Safeguard allows for a free movement action each turn to improve action economy.
  • Delve Too Deeps are here to improve the XP gain of the team.
  • Can do clue finding with Clairvoyance if there are no enemies about.
  • Ward of Protection (Spell), "Let me handle this!" and Unexpected Courage are for curve balls.

Upgrade and Swaps:

  • Stick to the Plan (3*) for 6XP which I will use at the start of a game to obtain Prepared for the Worst, Emergency Cache and Ever Vigilant.
  • Swap out 1 x Scrying for 1 x Cyclopean Hammer (5) for 5XP.
  • Swap out 1 x Clairvoyance and 1 x Guts for 2 x Sweeping Kick for 2XP now that you have unlocked Discipline of Body and need a 3rd fight option.
  • Swap out 1 x Dragon Pole for 1 x Cyclopean Hammer (5) for 5XP.
  • Upgrade 2 x Stand Together to Stand Together (3) for 3XP each (6XP Total).
  • Upgrade 2 x Overpower and to 2 x Vicious Blow (2) for 4XP.
  • Upgrade 2 x Brand of Cthugha to (4) for 3XP each (6XP Total).
  • Swap out 2 x Arcane Initiates for 2 x Beat Cops (2) for 4XP.

Discipline Pathway:

  • Disciplines will start with Spirit (+ 1 Willpower and healing) and then Body (+1 Agility and Super 3 Fight/Evade actions for the cost of 1 action e.g. Weapon + Brand of Cthugha + Sweeping Kick).
