Put assets into play early, so that you have fodder to flash them out later.
Priest of Two Faiths is a nice addition to Dexter without needing Charisma, as you can flash them out before filling the chaos bag with doom. Lose 1 Burglary and 1 Delve (if you earned a nice amount in scenario 1, else 1 Lucky Cigarette Case)
Be sure to take advantage of your Arcane Research each scenario, but his upgrade tree is mostly by name, so don't limit yourself to just this one upgrade per scenario... there are plenty of opportunities.
The Skeleton Key is nice to get out at some point and can replace either the your first Delve, second Delve, or 1st Lucky Cigarette Case
