2XP Variant of Bernat's Carson Sinclair, Promising Power. Added in St. Hubert's Key (via Versatile) to quickly satisfy the sanity conditions of the Carcosa cycle skill cards, plus giving you protection from defeat by horror. Added Monstrous Transformation to make Carson a competent fighter with updated 2/2/5/5/ stats. Deck upgrades to Bestow Resolve, which will allow all your skill cards to be wild icons.

Guess you play with house rules that let you just stick Monstrous Transformation in a deck...

Anyone earning it legit will also have to take the Curse of the Rougarou weakness. With the two trauma from in the Thick of It, low base health/sanity, and likely incoming horror from Ward of Protections, Selfless to a Fault and Curse of the Rougarou, Carson seems pretty fragile.

Having said that, Monstrous Transformation by itself has no downsides for Carson

So weird! This is a deck that I deleted lol. Here is my actual decklist:

Thanks! You're right, Curse of the Rougarou should be in the deck! I made so many versions of this deck I forgot to put it in the final version. It should be there!

In The Thick of It is meant to begin Carson with two horror, so that the Desperate skill cards can more easily proc. From playtesting, he is generally safe with St. Hubert's Key, soaks, and heal cards like Hallowed Mirror and Fearless, but Key of Ys is the deck's priority upgrade.
