This is a bit of a work in progress, hammering out the last details on a deck idea.
Core of the deck is this:
Bestow Resolve allows committing cards that are under the Crystallizer. Both Blood-Rites (from the Lexicon) and Melody (from the Mirror) have triple icons, thus work great when bestowed this way as they will commit for 3 wilds then.
This makes Lexicon and Mirror even better than they already are.
Challenges:
- Both Mirror and Crystallizer take the accessory slot --> first 3XP go towards Relic Hunter, so that is easily solved
- It's Skids --> that's less easily solved. Those 3 fight are a pain in the neck to build around. I am including Survival Knife and Enchanted Blade because both give that crucial +2 fight and i am actually eyeing Knife as well...
The core of the deck (Bestow, Crystallizer, Lexicon, Mirror) could also go into:
Leo: But this does nothing with allies, so it's kinda eh.
Roland: Would require Versatile for Crystallizer instead of Lexicon. Possibly twice, if i want two.
Joe: Same deal. But his Hunch deck has innate synergy with Crystallizer already, so that's kinda cool. Also he can upgrade Lexicon to level 3 which is nuts.
Akachi: Bestow has charges, Lexicon and Mirror are Occult. So Akachi can actually do this if she versatiles for Crystallizer. Also really cool and she has her signature to recharge Bestow for even more gimmick.
Zoey: Zoey can run all of these cards without Versatile. Probably the best option, actually.
Using Skids for this is sort of a challenge to myself, i played him only very little so far and this seems like a good opportunity.
I love this idea! Bestow Resolve is a real sleeper. And Occult Lexicon is a clever addition. A few thoughts: What about swapping Lonnie for Grete or the backpacks for leather jackets? And did you consider Geared Up? Lastly, might Parallel front Skids be any stronger?
