My final Lola build for the Path to Carcosa Campaign.
In reflection, I wish i had gone with a slightly different approach to things. Although I had no problem finishing the Campaign until the final scenario, there were plenty of times in deck building when things seemed to go sideways. So for posterity, here are the heavy hitters and the weak cards.
Strong - Higher Education - I'm convinced that Higher Ed is the strongest card in the game, there have scenarios where I played almost nothing and got by just fine because of it.
Weak - Guardian Cards in General - This might seem a little extreme but I don't think Guardian is a great fit for Lola. Out of all the cards, only Prepared for the Worst pulled it's weight. Beat Cop just proved to be too expensive when I was using Higher Ed most of the time and the times I was in a position to use Let Me Handle This were few and far between
Stong - Gravedigger Shovel - Until the final Scenario where everything sort of fell apart, the shovel proved to be quiet reliable. I know there are detractors for people who think that +1 Damage is more important, but i'd value +2 Strength as more important to 3 Strength Characters. The odds improve drastically at that point.
SUPER STRONG - Red Gloved Man + A Chance Encounter- There is literally no better way to have more fun and do crazier things then these two cards in any deck that can run them. I highly recommend it.
