I'm returning to Arkham after a few years away, and there are so many options for investigators now! I could play an explorer, a mail delivery person, a daredevil pilot . . . . . . or I could play my first, my favorite, Daisy!

There will always be at least one other investigator along who is a dedicated monster processing machine. We are NOT using the taboo list, I think to make things easier on lapsed players.
The overall goal here is to have the extra tome action always be useful and always propel the game forward. Old Book of Lore is a classic and I'm stoked about the upgrade. Being able to investigate with all four actions with Grim Memoir sounds pretty great too.
Secret counters are an important sub-theme. There are only 4 cards that use secrets in the base deck that use secrets, but they build up quickly as we add XP. Astounding Revelations gives us economy either way. Enraptured gives us a useful icon on a Practiced skill with another secret, or a charge for the upgraded Archaic Glyphs.

A deliberate weakness is the absence of enemy handling other than skill cards. I'm a little concerned that I have too much search (9 cards) and not enough to search FOR. Really love having that much deck filtering and consistency, though.
Feedback would be most welcome. It's cards as printed, so go wild!
