Carolyn is likely to run rich so long as she can keep healing horror. Even if the encounter doesn't deal much horror damage, she generates her own sources of horror damage to heal.
Peter while tempting to run on her because of forbidden knowledge isn't actually that good. Fights with Foolishness for an ally slot, and does not deal with her weakness.
Shrivelling is there because every non combat character needs a pepper spray in case the guardian is tied up elsewhere
Flashlight and Magnifying Glass are there for her to act as a secondary seeker. She needs to have something to do beyond just healing horror.
St Hubert Key is a better Holy Rosary
Delve Too Deep is just an insane card that warps the entire experience curve, every character that can run it should run it.
Cache is your standard economy card that you run. Eventually you want a copy of Ever Vigilant and the upgraded cache that can refill your supplies of First Aid/Liquid Courage
Logical Reasoning is a nice tech option to have for some Terror cards.
Shortcut is just an all round good card that gets you places.
Ward of Protection is your counterspell. Self-explanatory.
Inspiring Presence lets you heal allies before your First Aid is upgraded, and lets you heal out of turn by committing it during other investigator's skill checks. Definite 2 of.
Mulligan: You're looking for either of the horror healing assets, Flashlight and/or Magnifying Glass. I would keep Shrivelling if I have the above already. It's generally not a priority since you start scenarios next to your party's combat character.

May 12, 2018Fights with Foolishness for an ally slot, does not deal with her weakness, and is only really good with Forbidden Knowledge which is a low tempo card to begin with. |
May 12, 2018Interesting concept. When I saw the subtitle "bankrolling the team" I thought I might see a Charles Ross or a Teamwork, but this makes sense. I am a bit surprised to see no allies whatsoever - even with Foolishness, I think you might get some mileage out of Guard dog or Art Student. |
No Peter Sylvestre? I'd always run him in a Carolyn Fern build.
