This deck is a Combat heavy deck with some free damage allies and basic clue gathering support. You will let another investigator do most of the clue gathering while you handle the heavy lifting.
You'll want a weapon in your opening hand above anything else, or at the very least "Prepared for the worst". The cards in the deck are set up to very quickly get your allies on the board.
Once played, your dogs will deal free damage. Use trusted and your healing cards to heal your dogs when possible to get more free damage out of them. Also, use calling in favors to pull the dog out when it's got too much damage and play them again and again.
Once you get your machete out, you'll want to get a survival knife also. The guns are there to hold you over when needed. Your retaliation attacks should be knife +dog (ideally 2 knives and 2 dogs, although that may not be realisticly happening).
Your upgrades will be charisma first, then both beat cops to the upgraded versions for more free damage. . Reliable will replace overpower, and then Keen eye.
This deck paired very well with Carolyn (see "Carolyn Fern makes you feel better") throughout my playtests. Works best with a clue-gatherer who can handle some horror for him.
