This is my first attempt at a Calvin deck to see how I like him. My best shot was to try and cover everything in as balanced a way as I c pulls come up with. Also I've included allot of "1 offs" just to try something different as I have previously always done pairs. Input is welcomed if you have something to recommend.

I'm happy to see that your Calvin Deck looks a lot like my attempt on building a deck for the core campaign.

I'm hesitant to include the desperate skill cards since they don't offer card draw. But I see that they make a lot of sense in Calvin. And what are your experiences with Painkillers and Smoking Pipe? Should be good, 1 cost and no actions required.

For six XP after the first scenario I upgraded Leather Coat and Keepsake to Bulletproof Vest and Elder Sign Amulet. Should make Calvin even more durable.

Is there an answer to direkt horror/damage? I tend to keep Calvin at 4 damage/horror in order to not die to direct hits.

@MatthiasI believe only his signature asset will mitigate direct damage or horror. That why it's fairly sparingly on Treacheries. In general, I think it's going to be safer and more effective to cruise up to 4 damage and horror and if you know the scenario has Direct damage or horror, use healing to back off a bit and expect to be taking some damage to the face. He's all about managing the ebb and flow, like Mark.
