This is my attempt to make Skids work for standard Dunwich. Obviously he is outclassed in his own class by Jenny. Outclassed by Roland and Zoey for guardian. But I always enjoyed using the handicapped investigators (looking at you Mark Harrigan from Arkham Horror )

This deck was paired alongside Daisy to complement his lack of investigation capabilities.

Skids's main vulnerabilities is his weak will and low sanity. He will get destroyed by most encounter cards if things get out of hand.

To address this, I ran 2 Guts and 2 Unexpected Courage for those encounter cards situations. To supplement his weak will, I ran Beat Cop for his two sanity along with 2 Smoking Pipe . Smoking pipe is way more efficient then first aid for quick healing. It costs only 1 resource and it is a fast action to use!

You may have notice the high amount of skill cards in this deck. This is to keep costs low as you will need to get your ally out for the combat boost and sanity buff along with a weapon which costs 3-4 resources.

For damage, I ran Backstab instead of Dynamite due to its lower cost and getting dynamite to work effectively is difficult. You could risk blowing yourself up and you need to somehow gather all the enemies up. Two Vicious Blow and possibly sacrificing your Beat Cop to get out of a tight bind should provide you with enough damage to get through most enemies.

For card draw I included two Pickpocketing . This card however does not provide much synergy for this kind of Skids because we would rather use most of our actions to fight, not to evade. Thus we will cut Pickpocketing after completing our first scenario.

Along with your other investigator that can hopefully do most of the investigations, I have included 2 Flashlight and Evidence! to help keep Skids busy if there are no enemies to fight.

Ideally you want to work your way up to obtaining two Brother Xavier for 2 exp total. This will supplement his pathetic will and provide a much needed sanity shield. Brother Xavier will also act as a timed dynamite, delivering two damage to any monster in the same location. You will be cutting Beat Cop for Brother Xavier obviously. It might not be as efficient in delivering consistent damage but Brother Xavier should be keeping Skids safe and allowing Skids to be flexible.

I also suggest upgrading to obtain Adaptable for 1 exp. This will allow you to add another Overpower and 1 Sneak Attack to compensate for the absence of Beat Cop or Guard Dog. You can cut the two Pickpocketing cards for these two cards

Other possible upgrades to consider include Police Badge for another point of Will. I did run into some occasional problems for resource flow so you might want to have Teamwork (have Daisy provide subsidies with Dr. Milan)

For the Police Badge and Team Work I would cut 1 Guts and 1 Smoking Pipe (since you should already have Brother Xavier)

Other considerations instead of the Police Badge would be to go straight for Hot Streak . This will allow you to afford the +4 cards of .45 Automatic and Brother Xavier.

Hopefully this Skids deck worked out for you. Assuming you get your ally card and weapon assets out early, you should be pooling resources as you will be using your skills more late game which will allow you to save for his extra action ability.
