Mark the ascetic sniper

Asceticism is a lifestyle characterized by abstinence from worldly pleasures through self-discipline, self-imposed poverty, and simple living, often for the purpose of pursuing spiritual goals. Ascetics typically adopt a frugal lifestyle, characterized by the renunciation of the "move" action and spend time shooting a Springfield M1903 while concentrating on the "gain 1 ressource" action.

The main idea of this deck is to be able to snipe enemies with the taboo Springfield as soon as scenario 1, hence the need for 10xp. You can also add Mark as a third player if ever you're playing any scenario that has a cool central location, or if your fighter was recently killed and you need a new one.

You only have 1 sniper rifle, but backpack (2) and Tetsuo Mori will help you find it. There are 2 brands of Cthugha in case you can't find the M1903 or if you really need to kill an elite enemy engaged with you.

Hiding spot synergizes really well with the taboo M1903, because both cards cancel each other's drawbacks against non-elite enemies. Anything drawn on your location will stay there aloof, and you can shoot them.

if you really need to move, do so without spending any of your actions thanks to shortcut or elusive. If you prefer, you can also move the enemy away with Bum's rush (and then snipe them for 3 more damage)

Emergency cache is here because it's a good backpack target, and so you can play dynamites sometimes. But really, you'll have plenty of ressources by simply using the "gain 1 ressource" action repeatedly instead of moving.
