Vincent ( breaking “Geared Up”) (+ Dark Horse+Synergy)

An updated version of a previous deck. 19xp for stand alone play. I am abusing non-tabooed “Geared Up”. The cards I wish I could have fit in the deck are Madame Labranche, loner, LV3 Scientific Theory, and another LV2 backpack.

Adding the Synergy cards works pretty well I think. “Join the Caravan” gives you a teleport for a cost of 1. “Gang Up” is 3 cost for a fight at +4 and +4 damage. “Strength in Numbers” is 5 wild icons.

I had a hard time with the Ally Slot. I really wanted “Madame Labranche” but ran out of off class deck slots. I decided “art student” was cheap soak and tempo and with a very thin deck because of “Geared Up” I would probably get to play her repeatedly. Other contenders included “Lonnie” for Synergy, “Mr. Rook” for “Surprising Find” combo, “Lab Assistant”, and “Dorothy Simons”. I am still considering going with “lab assistant”.

I also thought about adding one copy of “Healing Words” just for synergy but it didn’t seem worth it.

Shout out to people smarter than me that figured out the way Vincent can abuse “ Geared Up”. I would never have thought of combining with “well maintained” and Studious”
