Multiplayer Roland.

The goal here is to have Roland just take hits and keep the party alive while he loots clues from his combats.

I am happy to receive advice.

Why on earth do you run Archaic Glyphs in a Roland deck????

Meant to take it out. But was trying to figure out if it turned into something useful for him honestly

Ok, I'm suspecting you expect to get some value out of the 5 resources it gives you after it becomes "translated" (I really don't see any other reason you would have included it). The thing is: In order to get the 5 resources out of the Glyphs you need 1 action to play it and 3 actions to discard the proper cards. That's 4 actions total, which you could have spent to gain 4 resources instead. Archaic Glyphs gives you 5 at the cost of taking up a hand slot and discarding some useful cards so it's totally not worth it, plus you can't use the upgraded version (not that it would do any good on Roland anyway).

If you can work Shortcut into your deck, that can be great. Roland sometimes has problems getting to other investigators in time to take care of the enemies that spawned on them. Shortcut can be a great way to get there in time! Also, if you ever get an enemy on you and there are no clues on your location, you can Shortcut out to another location with clues and then trigger Roland's ability once the enemy is defeated to grab a clue!

If the aim is enemies to get clues then Scene of the Crime and On the Hunt are a must surely! Take out magnifying blast x 2, bandolier and the archaic glyphs.

You could upgrade into pathfinder. Dynamite Blast can be useful because you can kill an adjacent enemy but gain clues from your location with his ability and Evidence!
