Such a great easy money card. It is far less risky than "watch this!", almost better in all points than "sneak by" (chapter 1). That free icon here makes it usable for all tests and you may spend the money in some boost during the test to avoir lose anything. Looks like it's a staple in almost any deck which can use it. I would not be surprised if it gets tabooed...

Comparing Out the door and "Watch this!" is so strange to me. They both have a lot of overlap, in that they're both: rogue money generating skills, they both have downsides on failing the test, they're both gambit traited, and they can both be found in Andre Patel's box.

But when you start to look at the differences, almost everything shows up in favor of out the door.

• Compared to "watch this!", you get an additional +1 on agility tests, and the option to commit for +1 on book tests, which "watch this!" couldn't do at all.
• You can commit it to a teammate's test, as an uncharacteristically generous way of handing out resources.
• You don't need to have resources to spend on committing the card to begin with.
• If you fail, you maintain your current resource count. You only lose the ones you just gained, whereas "Watch this!" will lose you the amount you would've gained, which is a really big downside for a card that you would slot specifically to help solve your money problems.
• This generates resources before you do the test, meaning you can immediately spend the resources generated on a talent like Silver Tongue as a part of the same test, if you need to.
• You don't need to succeed by 1 to generate resources. If you're not already aiming to succeed by 1 or more, this essentially means out the door gives you an additional +1 over "watch this!".

Now, in favor of "Watch this!" we have:

• Has the potential to generate 1 additional resource

That 1 additional resource is actually quite a substantial benefit. That's the difference between Leo De Luca and Leo De Luca. But is it worth it? I don't feel like it. The extra risk is feels like it's in direct conflict with it - I'd much prefer to choose +2/+0 over +3/-3.

Doesn't really matter either way, to be honest. You spend one XP per card and get Out the door(1). All of a sudden that last upside too joins the winning team.

Nothing says you can't take both of course. "Watch this!" was and still is a great card, but the best purpose that card serves now is to emphasize just how strong Out the door is.
