Good luck! I might suggest adding in just a few more skill cards, like a set of Overpowers or Perceptions and a second Deduction or Guts. (Assuming another investigator's not already using them.) You could probably safely drop First Aid and/or Barricade to make some extra room.

Thanks for suggestions. I wasn't sure about Barricade. More skill might be more useful. I would like to keep First Aid because when we went through campaign with starter decks, we lost investigator in most scenarios. Of course, it may be problem with our strategy rather than lack of healing. :)

What would you say is generally good ratio of asset/event/skills?

I don't tend to think of it in terms of a ratio, but looking at some of my decks it tends towards a 10/10/10 split. My only firm rule with Roland is to have a minimum of 5 weapons (including - Roland's .38 Special - so usually the special, 2x Machete and 2x .45 Automatic), and you've got that.

I think First Aid is a little too slow (in terms of actions) to be effective. Sometimes for Roland it's nice to instead have an ally who can soak some horror. If you're just using the Core then Dr. Milan Christopher and Beat Cop may be the best options for that, but there are also some Seeker allies later like Art Student who fill that role really well. It would take you 3 actions to heal 2 horror with First Aid (one to play it, then two to use it twice) but you can play a 2-sanity ally for just 1 action.

Makes sense. Thanks for help again.
