The gimmick of "Skids" O'Toole is that he can get extra actions. With high and average & , he is a flexible investigator who can be tooled to different paths. I've chosen to go for doing high damage while being able to support investigating as secondary.
Backstab is the best lvl 0 damage dealer in the game with Skids having 4 base, he is the best who use it outside of Wendy Adams who share the high . .45 Automatic and .41 Derringer can hit hard too. Vicious Blow and Sneak Attack can add to damage.
Possible Future Upgrades:
- Extra Ammunition: With 4 Guns, it is probably the first upgrade.
- Police Badge: Skids can get an extra action by himself, this just compounds that theme. The extra 1 is welcomed as well.
- Hot Streak: More money for more actions.
- Sure Gamble: Luck mitigation.
- Cat Burglar: Might be worth using instead of Leo De Luca. Extra is good but so is an extra action.
My first thought is that this deck gets destroyed by the willpower treacheries. Frozen in fear first turn will mess you up. The ones that do horror damage by how much you fail by will be rough too and first aid is a poor answer for that.
