A pretty standard big money p2w Preston deck, fairly successful run in hard EotE with Trish as main cluer and Yorick as dps

ITTI choice: Obol + 1 copy of Counterespionage, 1 physical and 1 mental trauma

Observed is only for fun, but it did better then I expected (in the 3 game it's present, two is change a skuil to 0, the other is 2 extra resources at start)

Gold Pocket Watch is only added before the finale because by then I have way too much xp than I need, so I figure why not; I mean, among all the investigators, it's obvious that this piece of luxury is most likely to be owned by Preston in the first place, right?

The deck starts with the failing package + dark horse package to make some impact in the 1st and 2nd scenario; outta here is replaced by Friends in Low Place in the finale for a better chance to find DD and Watch. I only come uncomfortablely close to death once (with 2 health and 2 sane remain) in the 1st scenario thanks to the hideous Star Terror and are forced to hit the panic button, but other then that Preston survives the arctic freeze suprisingly well.

Along the way, I did give some thought about swap out Scrounge for Supplies, as it gets less useful with deck upgrading (in finale it can only recycle Intel Report and Cunning Distraction) , but with no Adaptable and lack of ideas I decide to keep them their and dump the xp into Gold Watch.

However, going to the 2nd phase of finale, with 2 Scrounge for Supplies and 1 Cunning Distraction in hand, and DD on table, I'm suddenly in a position where the enemy is just evaded forever, buying (quite literally) my team 2 full round of time to get to the exit, and use Intel Report to buy my way to the exit without ever need to test for the , wow.

All in all, playing Preston is quite fun, I recommand you all give it a try —— laughing at everything the game can throw at you with Counterespionage, easy +6 (Well Connected) or even +10 (Money Talk) feels waaaaay too good.
