Finn and Skids (aka "The Bank Job") return from a successful run through the Feast of Hemlock Vale. Well, they survived at least. Good enough!

Nice deck! You know I would have never have thought of Grim Memoir on Finn Edwards, but it seems like a great idea to leverage his above average (you're the first ever to put it on Finn, on here at least). Bold of you to run two Rogues at the same time as well - glad you made it out alive!

Is there also a link for a 0XP deck? ;)

@HungryColquhoun: I pretty much treated Finn like a Seeker for the most part, so while he initially had a lot of overlap with Skids in the card pool, he grew in a completely different direction. Honestly he didn't play that differently in the end from Kate or Alessandra who i used in previous plays of Hemlock Vale. That blend of evasion and clue grabbing is just very, very good in that campaign. And Grim Memoir is simply a very good card, one of the most important ones from its set. There's a good chance that the Mag Glass should actually be a second Memoir, it's really a great card.

@Harvey81: I didn't write the original decklist down, but it was something like this: arkhamdb.com Not sure if I can really recommend everything in it, though. It's a bit of a rough list that i had to shape into something better with upgrades. A bunch of one-offs were because i had the other copy in the Skids deck, their level 0 decks had considerable overlap. Fine Clothes were supposed to make the preludes easier, but didn't really end up mattering much. Milan left the deck after i picked up Rosa Marquez from the campaign. Easy Mark and Damning Testimony were the two priority upgrades. Savant was also important and if you don't have to share a card pool with another investigator, definitely get two of them. Hit Me! was some hot tech that was supposed to help me with willpower tests. It was fine, but i jumped on the opportunity to get "real" Luckys later through Adaptable when i was able to drop a Derringer and Milan.

So many hand cards. Was the goal to get 1 fight and 1 clue hand slot item and then rotate as needed?

Surprised there isn’t a Dirty Fighting, any reason you skipped it? It would move you from attack at 5 or 7 and save an action?

Yeah, hand slots were a bit much. I never really noticed during play, but when looking at the list now it just looks wrong. The Mag Glass i played only very rarely, for example. Always had something more impactful to play.

Dirty Fighting was constantly on my shortlist for upgrades but i always found something else to be more important at the time. Skids took most of the fighting duties and with the .25s i already had the ability to do the evade+shoot thing when needed. Instead i put my XP towards cards that helped me with more specific challenges like the Bulldog for aloof stuff and Riastrad to have something for Miasmatic Shadows.

There's certainly room for Dirty Fighting in this deck though, especially after cleaning up some of those hand slots.
