This deck complements my Hank deck in my experiment about limited pool decks. Only cards from Hemlock Vale, Scarlet Keys, Edge of the Earth and the revised core box were used.
A full explanation of this deck can be found on my blog. You can also find out about the results of this campaign there. Once I'm done, I will publish an upgraded version of this deck.
The TLDR version:
- Heavy focus on Tools and Science cards to maximize the use of Kate's signature ability.
- Tinker and Dr. Charles West III allow for to carry more tools by removing their hand slot requirements.
- Well-Funded seems to be made for this deck.
- Classic cards like Deduction and Perception to help to get these clues.
- Some mythos protection with Mouse Mask, evasion with Transmogrify and the always versatile Unexpected Courage
Limiting the card pool doesn't seem to affect this deck as much as its counterpart which sounds nice.
