My group needed a designated killer. I've yet to try Rogue, but with the advent of the fantastic Switchblade and Chicago Typewriter down the line, it felt like a good time to try the life of a dilettante. Who needs 4 combat when you have more money than you know how to spend, and an extra action every round to take that final shot? This deck did WORK in "The House Always Wins", killing around 6 criminals, the Pit Boss, and the Servant of the Lurker. I spent 8 resources gambling and still never found myself wanting. Ideal opening hands have a weapon (or Prepared for the Worst), Leo De Luca, and/or Lone Wolf. Once you have a weapon and Hard Knocks out though, everything else is just icing on the cake.
