This is a deck I may take on my second run through The Dunwich Legacy. I also included some ideas for 5 "other class" cards:
Baseball Bat x2 (for 6 combat)
Art Student x2 (for some horror soak and discovering clues)
Holy Rosary X1 (additional willpower and horror soak until you get your cross)
Drawn to the Flame x2 (if your Mystic doesn't take these, take these; this is how you'll get clues and with 4 willpower/4 combat, you're less afraid of the encounter deck more often than other characters)
Working a Hunch x2 (never a bad idea to gain a clue, but if you have a Seeker, they probably have these already)
Rite of Seeking x2 (if your Mystic doesn't take these and you may need to do something while there are no enemies, never a bad idea to gather some clues. This is not a priority choice)
Blinding Light x2 (if your Mystic doesn't take these, you may use these to deal an additional damage to an enemy you don't want to fight or don't want to take an AoO to get a weapon out)
Fearless x2 (a way to heal horror while adding to your incredible willpower stat or to another player's willpower test)
Liquid Courage X2 (if you really think you'll need to heal your horror often, then these aren't a particularly terrible option, but do not advise)
Joey "The Rat" Vigil x2 (can use the 1 resource for the free action from engaging a monster, then you can play weapons without getting hit from attacks of opportunity!)
Fire Axe x2 (it's Fire Axe)
Act of Desperation x2 (can get some big combat values out of this card and if we choose a weapon with high resource cost and is also out of ammo {access to plenty of guns with upgrades} we can get some serious resources back})

Sep 14, 2020You probably have too many cards competing on the hand slots. |
Any Zoey deck that includes Baseball Bat is a good deck in my view.
