The Agnes Baker Mysteries - Eternal Slumber

Used this deck on the invocation event 2018 to go through the Eternal Slumber scenario (nov 19 2018). The other two investigators were Skids and Roland. We were successful, but only just. We did make one or two mistakes so the just could also have been a just not.

This deck uses cards from 2 cores, the return to box and the dunwich cycle.

Because this was a standalone scenario we decided to start with 9 xp. For Agnes I included 1x Fearless (2), 1x Blood Pact (3) (is a permanent card so does not count against the 30 card deck size, 1x Grotesque Statue (2)

Blood Pact (3) starts in play.

Use the Mulligan to try and get into your hand:

• Shriveling as your main attack card.
• Scrying to find cards in your deck.
• Arcane Initiate to find spell cards in your deck.
• Moonlight Ritual find this cards relatively quickly, you'll need to have it ready when you need to remove doom from Blood Pact and Arcane Initiate (or don't use it when you put doom on Blood Pact in a round when an Act would advance anyway).

When you really need an attack to succeed use the three heads from Blood Pact (3) and take one doom, combine this with Shriveling, and for an even higher chance of success also use Grotesque Statue (2).

When starting without XP then I swap the following:

• 1x Fearless (2) for 1x Fearless.
• 1x Blood Pact (3) for nothing as this is a permanent card.
• 1x Moonlight Ritual for 1x Arcane Studies.
• 1x Grotesque Statue (2) for 1x Lucky.
