Trying to balance clue gathering efficiency and dealing with enemies. Not a lot of player cards to choose from, definitely missing more player cards. Will likely purchase the mystic and survivor starter investigator decks soon tho i feel it might be unnecessary for the core box campaign and the dunwich cycle.

Probably the biggest problem with 1 Core is the singletons cause a lack of consistency, especially with early slow draw issues. I would suggest Flashlight instead of the candles (although Old Keyring in the Stella deck is also good). Any thoughts about upgrades?

@LivefromBenefitStYea im fully aware of the benefits a second core set would provide but in my opinion its not worth it whatsoever. Not only because i disagree with the practice but just financially i would much rather buy some combination of investigator decks or mythos packs or standalone scenarios. In fact thats going to be my next few purchases probably depending on what i can find in stock. Miskatonic museum i have reserved at my lgs and im yet to decide which investigator deck ill get. The mystic looks really interesting as does the rogue. Youre probably right about the Ritual Candles but i dont think i need more clue gathering capability, in fact ill probably grab the Baseball Bat just to ensure i have a weapon in my opening draw. Thanks and if you have any further input let me know, ill probably be trying the zealot campaign on expert tonight :)

Sorry, that wasn't a push to buy a second core set; your strategy is at least as good. As you buy new things, you might look for alternate tools that you can swap in to improve consistency -- Jacqueline Fine certainly has a lot of cards that're just as useful for Agnes. I think you have just enough clue-gathering for "The Gathering," assuming you hit most of it. You might find yourself strained by "The Midnight Masks," but that's my opinion. I hope you have a good time with Agnes; she's one of my favorite investigators!
