Excalibur Galatine

« Your will. My holy sword is the embodiment of the sun. Under the king's command, I will burn all on the surface to the ground. The blade of this holy sword is a copy of the sun itself. Holy sword of the stars, swing once again! Excalibur Galatine!! »

In which Yorick wields the holy sword Excalibur Galatine and slays monsters as the Knight of the Sun.

Tick, Tock

Like Gawain, your power waxes and wanes with the Favor of the Sun. You are the strongest when the Sun is at its zenith. When the sun sets, your power wanes.

Fortunately, like any good Knight, Yorick cheats with his recursion powers to bring the Sun back, so the light will never die on your watch.

Ascension

In Stage 1, Yorick has to make do with a 2 damage attack at a passable 6 with either the Enchanted Blade or the Timeworn Brand.

We get Yorick to Stage 2 by feeding him Ascension materials of 2x Reliable, he upgrades his weapon into a very respectable 8 .

For Stage 3 we need an Ice Pick. Now we're at 9 , and we can do a 3 damage on every killing blow by recurring the Ice Pick from discard.

In Stage 4, we add an entourage, because what's a knight without a party? We're now capable of doing 4 damage in a single action. That's Flamethrower tier, and though it's only once per round, it's not often you'll need more than that. Like any good knight, we also promise real hard to Safeguard others. This convinces the good folk to give you rides on their shoulders, so that like a proper knight you'll have a mount to get around on.

Role

In Fate/EXTRA, Garwain was summoned by Leonardo B. Harwey as a Saber-class Servant

Yorick's role is to beat things up and to pass any random scenario tests that needs to be passed with Favor of the Sun. He doesn't care about clues, although he can pick up the odd clue if there's nothing better to do.

He is premier boss killer since he's fully capable of automatically evading bosses himself with favor and covenant, then methodically administering a beatdown with his high . For a finisher Yorick unleashes his Noble Phantasm, fueled by the power of the sun itself, for a spectacular 5-8 damage depending on how many Vicious Blows you're committing.

The light of the sun burns only evildoers, so feel free to swing at enemies engaged with other investigators without fear of harming them. The Sun itself will guide your blade true.
