My Arkham Horror adventure is about to begin - rather than use the Core Set builds of the original investigators, I have built my version of Roland using the the 3 packs I have purchased.

The theme of the build was for Roland to hit hard and gain clues with his ability. Using Guard Dog to finish off enemies Roland had nearly killed off. Events mostly based on combat such as Toe to Toe, Counterpunch & One-Two Punch.

Looking forward to playing this deck and will give updates on how he performs in his first adventure.

If you would change anything please let me know - as am eager to increase my Arkham knowledge and this format of deckbuilding is vastly different to what I am used to which is MTG (Magic the Gathering).

Thanks in advance

Scenario - The Gathering has now been completed solo but at what cost?

A start that was terrifying pulling -4 and then critical fail from the chaos bag did not fill me with joy. The story unfolded and Roland hit hard but pulled Cover Up 2/3rds of the way through and suffered 1 mental trauma on the conclusion of this adventure.

Defeating the "thing" with a hit for 4 using Toe to Toe and pumping up with a double Vicious Blow & on the return attack my trusty Guard Dog hit in for the final point of damage.

Concluding the adventure and making my final choice before reading the outcome of my actions...Roland is alive but in need of soaking up horror.

I have victory points to spend, what I shall do I am unsure...
