Skids and Alice Romance

Skids was confused. Since he last came out of prison, the young detective Alice Luxley had been following him around. First he thought the Police send her to keep an eye on him. But even if that was true, it wasn't the whole story. Whenever he got in real danger while sneaking around, Pickpocketing or breaking into houses, she wasn't only there at the Scene of the Crime, she helped him out by knocking out his enemies. Then, when he fled away from her into the night, the look she gave him was something he hadn't seen since his mother died. Disappointment, yes, but also... empathy? Could it be that see saw something more then him than a criminal? Did she believe he could change for the better? He had been a Lone Wolf for most of his live, but now he felt that there might be someone that could keep him sane in this crazy world, ther might be Something Worth Fighting For.
