Keymaster Pete at the [Carnivale of Horrors] - 19xp

This is the deck that I will use to face Carnivale of Horrors with Roland Banks and Jenny Barnes.

The deck is inspired by "Pete + Key Guide" (@wallets).

I spent 19xp (1 extra random basic weakness) to add:

• 2 x Peter Sylvestre II (4xp)
• 1 x Charisma (3xp)
• 2 x Key of Ys (10xp)
• 2 x A Test of Will (2xp)

I include in my deck 2 x Forbidden Knowledge to assign some horrors to the keys and to gain some extra resources.

Mulligan

1. Key of Ys, Peter Sylvestre II and Dark Horse
2. Calling in Favors (if you don't have allies)
3. Fire Axe (if you have Key of Ys and Peter Sylvestre II)

Post-game remarks

My first hand included a Key of Ys, a Madame Labranche and a Fire Axe. After a few turns I have found Peter Sylvestre II and later the Dark Horse. With these cards in play I succeeded almost all the tests.

This is a great deck: I can discover clues and I can beat or evade the most enemies. The sinergies between the Fire Axe and Madame Labranche is very powerful: I have 1 resource, I attack with the Fire Axe spending the resource to gain +2, then switch Madame Labranche to gain 1 resource, and then I use the resource for my Fire Axe attack for a total of +4 and +1 damage! In combo with the Dark Horse and the Key of Ys my attack won't fail (unless with a ).

We have been successful in the Carnivale of Horrors, a very hard side story for us, escaping without physical/mental.
