The idea is to generate as many resources as possible and include enough card draw to take advantage of both Double, Double and the Streetwise permanent to cheat out clues with things like Intel Report, Money Talks, and Pilfer. Combat is entirely avoided to focus on grabbing clues.

There are really two viable builds for Preston Fairmont right now, Big Money where you try to have and hold on to as many resources as possible in order to boost your stats with cards like Money Talks and Well Connected, and Big Spender, where you plan on spending all of the resources on Family Inheritance every turn. Both of those are very specific builds that don't generally cross over one into the other, as spending resources really affects the stat line when playing Big Money, and spending the action to move the 4 resources off Family Inheritance really affects the tempo of Big Spender. When I look at your deck, I feel like you are doing half and half, and I think you will need to decide which archetype you like more.
