For the Greater Good

With only one XP to spare there wasn't anything significant I could in terms of upgrading the deck, but Jenny still had Adaptable to play with. I considered getting a second copy of "I'm outta here!" , but then I've remembered that Jenny's supposed to visit the Lodge. Dynamite would a very, shall we say, direct solution for those aloof cultists. Then again, these new cultists often allow parley actions and in terms of resources Fine Clothes are six times cheaper than a bundle of dynamite. Let's dress up!

Jenny begins the scenario with 1 Mental Trauma.

Pre-Mulligan Hand: Leo De Luca, Physical Training, Enchanted Blade, Lockpicks, Lone Wolf

Opening Hand: Leo De Luca, Physical Training, Enchanted Blade, Lockpicks, Lone Wolf

  • Mythos: 2/8 doom, Ancient Evils
  • Lone Wolf
  • MOVE to Library
    • Jenny doesn't have the right key on her at the moment, but I don't want her to waste her time doubling back to this location later. Combined Streetwise and Lockpicks let her investigate at 9 vs. 6.
  • INVESTIGATE with Lockpicks (+3 , , 2 supplies left)
  • RESOURCE
  • PLAY Physical Training
  • Upkeep: draw Unexpected Courage, 2 resources total.

"Call me Sir Guinevere! Kidding. Call me Jenny, as usual."

Solid scenario! It conveyed the idea of cultists running around heedlessly and winding themselves up to do unspeakable things. It's reasonably difficult and the keys being random mean it'll be difficult to plot out the optimal route on subsequent runs. The keys being described at the end was also a nice touch. I've noticed the campaign is getting less generous with the XP rewards. I approve. The last two campaigns gave out too much XPs. In the Interlude Jenny crossed the point of no return and lost all mementos. Hopefully, the support of the Silver Twilight will be worth it.

Campaign Log:

Disappearance at the Twilight Estate: Valentino disappeared into the mist. 4 pieces of evidence were left behind.

The Witching Hour: Jenny has rejected her fate. The witches’ spell was broken. Mementos: Mesmerizing Flute & Ritual Components. 8 XP (Anette Mason, Cairn Stones, Child's Tree House, Tainted Well, Hermit's House, Delve Too Deep, 1 bonus XP).

At Death's Doorstep: Jenny is on Valentino’s trail. Jenny escaped the spectral realm. Jenny rescued Joseph. Jenny is a member of the Lodge. 5 XP (Office, Delve Too Deep, 2 bonus XP).

The Secret Name: Jenny told the Lodge about the coven. Mementos: Gilman’s Journal, Keziah’s Formulae & Worn Crucifix. 4 XP (City of Elder Things, Twilight Abyss, 2 bonus XP), 1 Mental Trauma.

The Wages of Sin: 4 heretics were unleashed unto Arkham. Mementos: Wisp of Spectral Mist. 1 XP (Haunted Fields).

For the Greater Good: Jenny discovered how to open the puzzle box. Jenny was inducted into the Inner Circle. 2 XP (Library, Nathan Wick).
