Basically, runs and grows the same as MOTUX's deck, but able to deal with hard Investigation checks during solo play. I'm not 100% sold on Enraptured and Fearless yet, but Jim's chaos bag management should keep things nice and easy.
I prefer Wither to Kukri, as it can one-two punch into Shrivelling before either are replaced by Shards of the Void and Song of the Dead.
Playtesting Update I: Emergency Cache and Live and Learn are spending too much time in my hand, so they're getting swapped out for Lone Wolf and Arcane Initiate.

Dec 29, 2019Did you consider the Hawk-Eye Camera for Jim? Getting one out and filled up makes Jim a 5 (w/Hubert's Key). Ritual Candles kind of do the same thing but only protect Jim from symbol tokens and not the -3 or worse tokens. I found that Jim's deck ran really cheap but I didn't have Arcane Studies eating up resources. I only had Uncage the Soul for economy cards. I definitely liked having Arcane Initiate in the deck to dig for the combat spells because Jim is in big trouble if he doesn't have them. |
